This letter is written in gratitude to the staff of Imaging for Women for helping me on Tuesday. I was referred to your office to get an ultrasound to check on the health of my baby. While I was waiting to be seen, I felt something abnormal and went to the front desk to ask to use the restroom. The receptionist was very helpful and immediately took me to the back where I ended up having a miscarriage in the restroom. This was such a traumatic time for me being my first and only pregnancy. Corinna came to the restroom door and asked if she could come in to help. It was a difficult situation to handle, I was bleeding a lot, in severe pain and vomiting. She stayed with me and assisted through all of this. My clothes were messed up so she provided me with some scrubs and went out to the lobby to talk to my family.
Corinna cleaned up a very messy situation in the restroom and even helped me clean myself up. I realized she may feel that she was only doing her job; however, I know she went above and beyond a mere job description. The spirit she did it in was so touching, I could tell that she really cared and was concerned. Corinna made a difficult situation a lot easier and i wanted to take the time to acknowledge her efforts. She truly helped me through this difficult situation and I will never forget her. Corinna deserves to be recognized to let others know just how special she is. Imaging for Women is privileged to have such a great employee as Corinna.

EASIEST AND MOST ORGANIZED HEALTH CARE VISIT
I don’t remember the names of the ladies who helped me, but everyone was great, everyone was very professional, yet the atmosphere was relaxing, all I met were very friendly. I’m not saying that I look forward to my next mammogram, but I won’t dread it like I used to.
I’M NOT SAYING THAT I LOOK FORWARD TO MY NEXT MAMMOGRAM, BUT I WON’T DREAD IT LIKE I USED TO.
With a history of breast cancer in my family, getting my mammograms yearly is vital. At the large health system I had been going to, sometimes I’d have to wait 3 or more weeks to get an appointment, then I’d have to wait another 2-3 weeks to get my results. The waiting was agonizing. The whole time I’m wondering if this is the year my life changes forever. I heard a presentation given by the staff of Imaging for Women and learned that you get your results the same day! It was an easy decision for me to decide to drive from Lee’s Summit! When I called to make my appointment, I was able to get in within just a couple days and before I left I had spoken directly to the radiologist who read my scans. I walked out of there with such a sense of relief!
